Wow! Pat Henshaw here.  I’m really excited about being with you today. As a first-time author, I’ve had a blast wading through all the edits, cover design, and other bits and pieces of turning my manuscript into a real book.  Now that the actual publication day is here, I thought I’d share with you some of my peripheral thoughts and inspirations for my novella, What’s in a Name?  Stay tuned for more blogs from me.  In the meantime, join me today at the following blog sites where the book will be featured:

Hi Pat :-) congrats on your first release. The cover looks great. I’m looking forward to hearing more about the book and about your experience writing the book.

    Happy release day.
I read that this is your first book so congrats on that, i would like to know what made you wanted to write m/m?

Hi, H. B. and Angela! I started writing m/m which I call gay romance because I think gay men need to see themselves in a romantic light. I taught at a junior college where I talked to a lot of men who had come out but didn’t want to be part of the club scene. Some were even older than the late teen-early twenty guys, and the older ones seemed to have given up on finding love instead of sex. So what I’m hoping to do is give them a fun something to read that says love blindsides us. It appears when we least expect it. If there’s a “message” in my novella, that’s it. It’s my experience that love finds us when we aren’t frantically searching for it.
